LAHORE: Information and Broadcasting Minister Pervez Rasheed said that the government of Pakistan will hold talks with Taliban in order to reach conclusion logically.
While giving interview to local governmental radio, Pervez Rasheed said that dialogues with Taliban were initiated so that peace and stability once again prevail in the country. He said that the hurdles will come in the way but result oriented and fruitful talks ensured if perseverance and patience is displayed on the both sides.
The Information Minister further said that it was the unanimous decision of all political stake holders of the country having representation in the parliament to hold negotiations with Taliban. In response to the address of Nawaz Sharif in UN General Assembly, the information minister said that PM expressed the point of view of the country in front of leading world players.
Parvez Rasheed hopes that the meeting of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with his Indian counterpart would turn out to be a fruitful one and would help in normalising the crises situation.
