ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday said the federal government has the authority and responsibility to hold peace talks with Tehrik-i-Taliban.
He said he was not a politician who holds his assets in foreign countries. “I will live and die only in Pakistan.”
“We have been fighting so-called war on terror for last 9 years but got no result,” Imran said and added that enemies wanted to engage Pakistan army in a war.
To a query the PTI chairman said all political parties in All Parties Conference (APC) were agreed to hold peace talks with the TTP.
