ISLAMABAD: Organisation of local bodies’ election in the cantonment areas across Pakistan reached into finalisation limit as related summary has been sent to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s office, local media reported.
The Pakistan’s Attorney General Munir A Malik told the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan that summary pertaining the local government election has been presented to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Malik added that the federal government has formed 10-member parliamentary committee for particular amendments and the electoral process can to be organised by November.
He said the PM proposed some changes in the summary and constituted a 10-member parliamentary committee for reviewing purpose.
The Supreme Court was hearing a case regarding local bodies’ election.
