PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and Speaker Asad Qaiser from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will have to surrender their party posts after the growing pressure, Pakistan Tehrik Insaf (PTI) sources revealed.
The decision has almost been made at the highest level of the party to make it compulsory to retain one post at a time; either its PTI post or any governmental seat.
The decision would be imposed in the central executive committee meeting next week in Nathiagali.
Earlier, The News Tribe has reported that Pervez Khattak, who was earlier adamant to keep his post in PTI as the general secretary, accepted the party demand to leave the post.
But he has also demanded to appoint Jahangir Khan Tareen as the next general secretary of PTI.
