LAHORE: Renowned Nuclear Scientist of Pakistan, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan has announced to dissolve his political party Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Pakistan (TTP) on Friday.
A. Q. Khan made the announcement by himself, he revealed his stance by saying that politics via smaller groups is not suitable for the country; hence we will support the persons who are promoting good deeds.
While briefing for his decision of party’s dissolution, he said that the decision has been made after thorough consultation of friends and political colleagues and he will submit application for closure of TTP’s political activities in Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
The political party, Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Pakistan (TTP), took part in May 11 general election of Pakistan from several parts of Pakistan, while Dr. Khan’s announced political partnership with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI)  on several spots during his electoral campaigns.
