KARACHI: The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, has chaired a high level session on Thursday for reviewing law and order situation of Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.
CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah chaired a high level meeting in Karachi for critiquing developments and performances in Karachi operation.
The meeting was attended by several governmental, military and intelligence officials while DIGs of all zones were also present on the event.
Governmental officials include the Sindh’s Chief secretary, Advocate General while Director General (DG) Rangers and heads of intelligence agencies also attended the high level meeting.
Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of all zones have also been called in the meeting by the CM Sindh.
Detailed report will be presented before the ‘captain’ pertaining developments of targeted operation in the metropolis while names’ list of the detained will also be provided to the CM Sindh, sources said.
It should be mentioned, a large-scale is being conducted across Karachi since three days in order to eliminate criminal activities from the city.
The Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar, had given the CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah name as the supervisor of the ongoing targeted operation.
The operation resulted more than 200 detainment of several miscreants involved in different cases of target killings, extortion, weapons supply and kidnapping.
