PESHAWAR: Taking a major leap in the health services, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved a Rs. 1 billion project for free health services.
Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa aims to provide free health facilities for its poor citizens. For this purpose, German social welfare association has sponsored the project costing 1 billion.
The health facility project PC 1 has been approved after some technical amendments. Former government announced for free health facilities in Mardan, Chitral, Kohat and Malakund for poor families.
Sources claim that free health facilities patients were to be registered under the survey rules of Benazir Income Support Programme.
