ISLAMABAD: Telenor Pakistan has launched its device@retail initiative to bring access to affordable smartphones and internet across the country through its Sales and Service Centers and Franchise touch points.
The offering provides customers with the option to purchase an affordable internet-enabled handset from Telenor Pakistan Sales & Services Centers and Franchises and also receive Rs. 1500 worth of internet usage for free.
The handsets that have been made available at Telenor Pakistan touch points include Q-Mobile Bolt A2 lite, Q-Mobile Bolt A4, Nokia Asha 205 and Nokia Asha 301 priced at Rs 6,500, Rs 8,250, Rs 5,900 and Rs 9,350 respectively.
The internet package that comes with the purchase of a mobile handset through device@retail applies for the duration of six months, where customers will be able to utilize 500MB of data every month.
Speaking about the initiative, Chief Marketing Officer Telenor Pakistan, Irfan Wahab Khan said, “With data services becoming more accessible in the country, it is important to encourage the penetration of handsets that provide EDGE/GPRS functionality. Telenor Pakistan is playing its part in encouraging the use of internet by partnering with different device manufacturers to bring affordable handsets to the customers. Our aim is to facilitate the access to internet for everyone in the country. We will continue to bring new and innovative offerings that enable our customers to use convenient and accessible telecommunication services across Pakistan.”
This offer is available only for Telenor subscribers and is only available upon the purchase of the prescribed handset available at Telenor Pakistan Sales and Service Centers and Franchises.
