PESHAWAR: The Peshawar’s Accountability Court of Peshawar pronounced 6 years imprisonment to a former superintendent frontier constabulary, reportedly named as Haji Zard Khan, over making illegal assets.
The Accountability Court’s judge, Mrs. Raqeesh Sani, sentenced 6-year-long prison to a security official who found guilty in making millions worthy illegal assets, moreover, ordered the convict for paying fine of Rs19.7 millions.
According to prosecutors, Haji Zard Khan made illegal assets in different areas of worth Rs21.4 million by taking advantage of unlawful usage of his powers.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed reference in the court against the security official after complete investigation, while the court adjourned the case after completion of witnesses’ statements and lawyers’ debates which declared him guilty.
However, the KPK announced awful punishment to the ex-security personnel for 6-year-long prison and fine of Rs19.7 millions.
