NOWSHERA: Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani decides to take informal route to recover his abducted son Ali Haider Gilani.
The former PM reached Nowshera to meet elder religious scholar and head of Jamiat Ulema e Islam (Sami) Maulana Samiul Haq.
Ali Haider was abducted from Multan, the hometown of Yousuf Gilani, during an election gathering being held for Pakistan Peoples Party.
Since then, there is no clue of his son despite all of his influences and contacts. He is believed to be abducted by extremists, and meeting of Yousuf Gilani with Samiul Haq is a bid to have access to these extremists.
Sami assured all-out support for the recovery of Ali.
