LAHORE: Transparency International Pakistan has given a clean chit to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz led Punjab government over Microsoft licenses.
The provincial government had bought 15,000 licenses of Microsoft in 2010 for which Transparency International’s Pakistan chapter was auditing the records.
In a letter written to Punjab government, it says that the purchase deas had followed all Punjab procurement Rules 2009 and Rules of Business.
The licenses were purchases at a huge amount of $ 9 million.
