Peshawar: The provincial government of KPK has initiated new projects in the sector of tourism.
The tourism projects include ferry service towards river of Sindh and Kabul. One boat has already been bought for this person which can carry 50 passengers. The service will feature areas D.I Khan, Noshehra, Kherabad and Kund whereas it will also go to the rivers of other provinces.
Noshera, Attock and Khurd will also feature a train service. This decision was made on Wednesday in the office of Chief Minister KPK by Parvez Khattak.
In the meeting, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan along with provincial minister for sports and culture, Mehmood Khan, PTI Islamabad’s newly elected MNA Asad Umar and others were also present.
In the meeting it was decided that the ferry service will be helpful for seeing rare breed of blue dolphins, present in river of Sindh, a special tour will be organised for this purpose. In the session, it was also emphasised that Naran, Kaghan, Sawat, Dir, Galliat and Chittral will also be opened.
Chairman PTI, Imran Khan emphasised that in order to save nature, cutting trees must be prohibited and building in tourist spots will also be discouraged. For this purpose, expert opinions will also be taken from international community.
