BANNU: At least 14 persons were injured by powerful explosion outside a girls’ primary school on Thursday in Bannu district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakthunkhwa province.
The incident took place at Gard Nali street of the district where miscreants planted explosives near a shop adjacent to the school which resulting injuring of several persons including children, however, no reports of death received till yet.
Rescue teams have reached the location, shifting the injured students and others to District Headquarter Hospital while school administration terminated all classes after evacuated all students safely.
Security officials cordoned off the whole area and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) team initiated further investigation.
