KARACHI: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif urged the governmental authorities to use its maximum powers for establishment of peace in Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had arrived in Karachi on two-day visit after presiding over meeting with the federal cabinet to discuss worsening condition of law and order in the metropolitan city of Pakistan.
PM Sharif thoroughly listened stances of the leader of all political parties while chairing the meeting in Governor House of Sindh accompanied by top provincial officials including Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah.
Federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid and some other officials the participants of high-level meeting over Karachi peace crisis.
While addressing to leaders of all political parties, PM Nawaz Sharif reiterated, “Karachi is economic hub of Pakistan and we respect mandate of all political parties in Karachi.”
PM Sharif said that Pakistan facing terrorism, economic and several other issues and investment could be made without establishment of peace in the metropolis while no investment leads to unemployment.
The PM said that different suggestions were given to resolve the law and order situation in the metropolis, someone is recommending military and targeted operation while someone is suggesting something else.
The PM said that nobody wants to leave Karachi and he pressed all political parties present in the meeting to join hands for elimination of terrorism from the city.
Nawaz Sharif declared that the decision for resolution of crisis will be made without any discrimination or political influences.
