Minister of Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal chaired the meeting for Central Development Working Party while several officials were also present.
Gaddani Power Project’s PC-II feasibility study has also been approved in the meeting.
Three hydro power projects sponsored by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government have also been approved by the CDWP.
Construction of five hydel power stations (PC-I) in Punjab has also been recommended by the party.
This would be done under the sector of r renewable energy development’s investment programme.
Two projects of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission has been approved by the Central Development Working Party (CDWP).
