ISLAMABAD: Amid the rising tension between the two nuclear states, National Assembly of Pakistan has passed a resolution condemning unprovoked firing by Indian Army at Line of Control.
“The people of the country stand by the civil and military leadership to defend the territories of the country,” the resolution states.
One Army Captain of Pakistan, Captain Sarfaraz, became a victim of Indian firing while a soldier sustained injures at LoC.
Defence Production Minister Rana Tanvir Hussain while moving the resolution expressed reservations on the violation at LoC from the Indian side.
Lower house of the Pakistan parliament paid warm tributes to Captain Sarfraz and prayed for early recovery of the injured soldier.
