KARACHI: Miscreants have targeted a Rangers vehicle through a remote controlled bomb explosion in Manghopir area of Karachi on Wednesday.
The bomb explosion carried out on a Rangers’ vehicle patrolling through a remote controlled device, police said.
Two Rangers’ officials were injured by the windscreen particles splintered due to powerful explosion while the car partially damaged.
Superintendent Police (SP) Aurangi said assailants planted the explosive near the road to target Rangers’ officials deployed in the area.
SP Aurangi Chaudhry Asad added that explosion was made by a remote-controlled device while further investigations are still underway.
Rescue teams have shifted the injured security officials to the hospital while the hospital sources confirmed their condition out of danger.
