KARACHI: Nine people were held including two most wanted target killers in a Rangers operation completed in Patel Para area of of Karachi, during a raid which was part of consistent drive to purge the society of criminal elements in the metropolis of Pakistan.
The operation was conducted by heavy contingents of the law enforcement agency, and resulted in the confiscation of heavy quantity of weapons.
According to the spokesman of the paramilitary force, Rangers detained two most wanted target killers, Asim Mirza and Taari Don, during the operation. Both target killers were required in more than 50 murder cases.
The spokesman added that, several hideouts set up by the criminal elements were destroyed and 7 accused were also arrested in the operation.
It is pertinent to mention here that several people have been held and weapons confiscated in various parts of the city during the recent past.
