RAWALPINDI: Justice Retd Wajihuddin Ahmed, presidential candidate of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI), reached to meet Shaikh Rasheed Ahmad of Awami Muslim League (AML) at his famous political center Lal Haveli on Monday.
Presidential election across the country going to be held on July 30 with only two political opponents in Pakistan including Mamnoon Hussain of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Justice (Retd) Wajihuddin Ahmed from Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI).
However, probably to change the trends in politcal statements, PTI’s candidate Justice Wajihuddin claimed the he is not willing to meet Shaikh Rasheed in order to seek vote as he did not do this work in his whole life but he ‘only’ urged him to work together.
AML chief Shaikh Rasheed Ahmad answered positively to the PTI Wajihuddin for casting their vote if they take part in in presidential election.
Exchange of interesting sentences were heard during the meeting, Wajihuddin said that everybody should take benefit from the political insights of Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed and Justice Ahmed expressed personal preferences for him.
On the other hand, Rasheed claimed that highlest level of vote rigging happened in current general election and some powerful people held whole country.
Shaikh Rasheed said that final decision will be taken after Aftaari (end of fasting) for casting vote in presidential election.
