Youth Impact, A not for Profit Organization under section 42 of the companies ordinance, is holding the Pakistan’s first Wilderness Based Youth Leadership Conference, a nationwide youth event utilizing Wilderness Leadership as the basis of youth learning and empowerment.
The conference, scheduled 3-6 October, will gather youth from different segments of the society and from different regions.
Named after Pakistan’s National animal, Markhor, the conference aims to bring high potential youth of Pakistan together and inculcate a spirit of social leadership among them.
The young participants, namely Youth between ages 17 and 25 will be provided with the opportunity to test their leadership capabilities through real time wilderness challenges, projects and nature association. The level of cross cultural interaction is planned with the aim of promoting national harmony and diversity in the context of leadership.
