ISLAMABAD: Furious over negligence of law and order agencies and their officials, the Supreme Court has observed that there is no advancement in missing persons case
“Depriving someone of his freedom is a serious crime,” the bench hearing Missing Persons Case further obsered this morning.
The missing persons case has been in court since 2005.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry told officials, “You do not know about whereaout of whomever we ask about. Tell us if they have been taken by Taliban so we could ask them.”
Justice Jawad S Khawaja observes that the court was being compelled to take stern action.
“If this is suitable that we take any strict action?” he asked to law and order agencies.
