BAHAWALPUR: Taking every possible step in a bid to brighten up houses of people who have become psychic due to power outages, Punjab government starts working on a 500 MegaWatt solar project in Cholitan’s desert.
According to the officials, a Solar plant has been planned in first phase of the project in Cholistan.
The plant is being installed in collaboration with a Chinese company, whose officials will be visiting the capital city of Islamabad.
Energy minister Chaudhry Sher Ali says ‘delegation of the Chinese Company will visit Islamabad to finalize the agreement.’
The project will be stretched over an area of 5000 acres; however, there needs to be some practical measures taken as so far all big words are only on paper.
