PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) and Awami National Party (ANP) has formed a joint venture in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for upcoming by-election on Friday.
JUI-F and ANP has agreed for a joint fight in KPK’s by-election to target the provincial leading party Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) candidates.
JUI-F will support the ally political party in their strongly hold constituency while the same pattern will be followed by ANP.
In a press conference in Peshawar today, leaders from both political parties has announced that JUI-F will support ANP on national assembly seats NA-1, NA-5 and provincial seat of PK-23 while ANP will support JUI-F candidates on the remaining seats in the province.
Sources closer to JUI-F leadership, the joint venture formed for break the strong mandate of the KPK’s leading party PTI and its coalition partner Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in upcoming election.
Earlier, PTI belonged Chief Minister KPK said that PTI will support JI in by-polling on one seat while on other constituencies.
