The Supreme Court will be moon sighting this evening with a call to citizens of the kingdom to report seeing the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The court, the elite panel to announce moon sighting in the kingdom, issues an appeal to citizens to sight moon for Ramadan Monday evening , Shaaban 29.
“Whomever sights the crescent by naked eyes or through a device should report to the nearest court and submit his or her witness account to regional governorate,” the court further said.
Muslims in United States and in many European countries depend on moon sighting in Saudi Arabia, which houses the two most holiest places for the Muslims.Â
