KARACHI: Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, has announced on Wednesday to hold meeting for sighting Holy Ramadan’s moon on July 9 in Karachi.
All members of Central Reut-e-Hilal Committee will be gathered in Karachi on July as per chairman’s order.
In Saudi Arabia, which has the two holiest places for Muslims, Ramadan 2013 is likely to start from 9th or 10 July 2013 with moon sighting will be done on July 8.
Earlier, Pakistan’s Met department said that weather is not likely to clear on June 9 as per astronomical predictive reports received from different parts of the country, so in the certain case, first fasting of Ramadan will be held on July 11.
