ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has set up a four member team to filter out the blasphemous content on YouTube, the video sharing site of Google.
YouTube was closed down after emergency of blasphemous content triggering a violent protest across the country. Following massive demonstrations from public, previous government had blocked the site in Pakistan.
After coming into power, new IT minister Anusha Rehman had said to remove the blockage on YouTube.
The committee will be led by IT member of the ministry Amir Malik. The team will review about 8 millions URLs.

The IT minister will receive the team’s report, which will be referred to inter-ministry committee, including IT, Interior, PTA and security agencies.
