ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took notice over non-provision of gas to thermal power plant and directed to resume gas supply.
The PM has ordered the related authorities to present report on supply blockage of gas to the power plants.
Earlier, PM Nawaz Sharif chaired the meeting on June 25 which finalised new energy policy and vowed to increase electricity production up to 26800 MW in three years.
Moreover, Nawaz Sharif will formally announce the implementation details of the energy policy after gaining confidence of all provinces in the session of joint interest council, scheduled on July 29.
