PESHAWAR: Peace committee chief Malik Hashim Khan has been killed in a bomb blast along with his son and newphew in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Wednesday.
The incident took place in Zindi Falak Sher area situated in Jani Khel town of the district when the chief was moving in a car along with his son and nephew, security officials said.
The sources added that the car was completely destroyed in the remote controlled attack while the incident took place in the premisis of Hewad police station.
Rescue teams reached the location and shifted the dead bodies to the nearby hospital in Zindi Falak Sher while security forces cordoned off the whole area to start search operation.
