ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani has left Pakistan Wednesday for three-day visit to Sri Lanka to meet the top political and military leadership of the country.
The visit is commencing tomorrow where CAS General Kayani will meet Sri Lanka’s Secretary Defence Gotabaya Rajapaksa and top military officials to hold discussion on professional matters.
Moreover, General Kayani will be the chief guest of Passing out Parade at Sri Lanka Military Academy in Diyatalawa held on July 28.
It will be second trip of General Kayani’s to Sri Lanka since 2011.
