ISLAMABAD: Following footsteps of post-government, another ‘committee’ constituted by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for crumbling Pakistan International Airport (PIA), whom will commence a ‘thorough search’ for the reasons.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has formed four-member committee to review the matters ‘thoroughly’ although the authorities are aware of all the facts.
PM Nawaz Sharif has chaired a high-level meeting on Friday with top officials and experts of different departments of Pakistan to deliberate on matters in Pakistan to derive important decisions.
However, the PM ordered the committee ordered to submit their recommendations to make PIA a profitable organisation.
The national airline is ill-famed among Pakistanis for worst management, behaviour with passengers and schedules as well as the suffered a number of embarrassing technical problems this year.
Earlier, the national airline has also a subject of a case in the Supreme Court over alleged corruption and mismanagement.
