Looks like Apple sets its mood to keep lead the smart devices category, iPhone 6 could come with 4.8 inch display.
Citi Research says in its note that Cupertino-based firm will launch 4.8 inch screen iPhone 6, most probably the iPhone 6.
But the bad part is, the device will be released next, as the note from the research group further reported
This means that Apple is going to change its tradition iPhone event in the monthn of September, as the note states release of the device in first quarter of 2014.
If the rumor is true, it would mark a new strategic move by Apple to counter the wave of news that traditionally emanates out of the Mobile World Congress tradeshow that is held every February,” PatentlyApple reported.
The same note from Citi research predicts a cheaper version of iPad mini with 2048 x 1536p resolution and costing only $230 to 250. It also predicted the delayed launch of iPad Mini with Retina Display somewhere in last quarter of 2013 or in first quarter of 2014.
Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2013 is starting from June 10 where some more interesting clues about the upcoming range of the devices including iPhone 5S, iPad 5, and iPad Mini 2 are expected. However, as the note says there are no lesser chances of launch of any hardware.
