KARACHI: Karachi Traders have rejected the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) appeal for closure of trading activities on June 6 (tomorrow) in order to observe mourning day.
Earlier, MQM’s Rabita Committee has appealed the traders and transporters to observe the mourning day on Thursday (tomorrow) on the target killing of its workers.
According to Dawn News, Karachi Traders Alliance has rejected the appeal as the traders facing financial crisis due to continuous strikes and mourning days hence the traders decide to open their businesses.
However, President of private schools association has announced closure of all institution across Sindh province on June 6 (tomorrow) while Sindh Technical Board and Karachi Matric board has delayed their scheduled papers due to MQM mourning day’s appeal.
Moreover, Karachi Transport Alliance also decided to close all vehicles in Karachi due to expected loss as well as uncertain law and order situation.
