LAHORE: Former Law Minister of Punjab Province Rana Sanaullah Khan says Shahbaz Sharif is going to set another record by securing highest vote ever in the history on June 6.
“The number of votes for speaker and deputy speaker of the provincial assembly is record itself,” he said after talking with session Punjab assembly.
Earlier, Shahbaz Sharif filed his nomination paper for slot of chief minister of the province for which election is scheduled on June 6.
From political rival of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf’s Mian Mahmudur Rasheed is likely to contest against the former CM.
PML-N has over 300 seats in the provincial assembly which means that there is possibly no potential threat for the PML-N leader in the election of CM.
