QUETTA: Newly elected members of provincial assembly (MPAs) of Pakistan’s Balochistan assembly will take oath on Saturday afternoon under the administration of outgoing speaker.
The session will be administered by the outgoing speaker of Balochistan assembly Syed Matiullah Agha under tight security as no outsiders will be allowed to witness the proceedings.
In the upcoming session, 64 newly elected members will commit a solemn promise for the country’s sovereignty and loyalty in their tenure.
Speaker and deputy speaker will be elected afterwards in another session after the nomination of candidates as the political parties have differences in the opinions for these posts.
