PESHAWAR: At least three soldiers killed and 15 injured on Friday during a fight with Taliban militants in Orakzai, an agency of Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan.
According to security sources, a security check post in Samo Kali area of Mamozai in upper Orakzai agency came under attack by more than a hundred of Taliban militants, while in reply attack at least 20 militants were died and 13 were injured.
The attack was carried out by Taliban to take revenge of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)’s leader Waliur Rehman Mehsud’s death by drone strike in Waziristan, the sources said.
The injured ones were shifted to the military hospital as well as the bodies of martyred soldiers.
