LONDON: International Cricket Council (ICC) has been eliminated the Pakistan umpire Asad Rauf from it’s elite umpires panels on Saturday.
According to the sports editor of TheNewsTribe ICC decision has been announced on Saturday after the complains against Pakistani umpire.
Rauf, 57, has been on the ICC’s elite panel of umpires since April 2006.
Earlier, Pakistani umpire has been withdrawn from the Champions Trophy in June after media reports that Asad Rauf is being investigated by police in India.
“We feel that it is in Asad’s best interests, as well as those of the sport and the event itself,” explained International Cricket Council (ICC) chief executive David Richardson.
