Delhi: Indian police has revealed video evidences against star cricketer S Sreesanth and other cricketers of being involved in fixing in Indian Premier League.
As many as 11 bookees have been arrested in connection with fixing during IPL, which the officials alleged being run from a mafia in Karachi, Dubai and Delhi.
Two videos have been screened by police officials: one from May 9 match and second from yesterday’s match between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians.
Ankeet Chavan and Sreesanth are said to be in contact with bookees over spot fixing in return of a hefty amount.
Ankeet received an amount of Rs. 2 million to follow instructions of bookees as well influencing other teammates to get involved in spot fixing.
Indian police officials says that first fixing was made in a match between Rajasthan Royal and Pune Warrior on May 09.
