QUETTA: At least two people were killed while six others injured as an election rally of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) was attacked in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.
A bomb ripped through the procession as it was in its full momentum in Turbat in the troubled region of the country, here on Thursday.
It may be noted that several election candidates and dozens of their supporters have been killed as the day scheduled for general elections comes close.
The Chief Election Commissioner has asked both the authorities and the army chief to ensure that conducive and secure environment is provided to the voters.
Several thousand of personnel have already been deployed in various cities and at polling stations to ensure all-out security to the candidates, polling staff and voters.
