MUMBAI: Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh are out of the team that has to go to UK for upcoming champions trophy. Experts are totally surprised at this decision of the Indian cricket selection board but they will have to admit it as this is what Indian selectors think right for Indian team,The 15 men squad has been announced today in which some other players have been included which is another surprise.
Left-handed opener Shikhar Dhawan, who last played a 50-over match for India two years ago, got selected while wicket keeper batsman Dinesh Karthikhas also been recalled after almost three years.
Opener Murali Vijay is also a surprise inclusion along with Irfan Pathan, who also got a recall.The biggest shock is for Youraj who made a comeback last year after his exemplary fight with lung cancer but now he has ben dropped again to give his place to right-handed batsman Rohit Sharma ahead of him, The exlusion of Gautam Gambhir is also a surprise for may of indian cricket fans.

Exclusion of 31-year-old opener Gambhir’s did come as a surprise, particularly after his long-time partner Virender Sehwag was not even included in the 30-member probables list.
Right-hander Vijay last played an ODI against South Africa in January 2011 and has failed to score a 50 in his 11 matches in the format.
Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and leg-spinner Amit Mishra were the two specialist slow bowlers in the squad.
