According to the latest announcement by the phone maker, HTC is ready to give the price of your old phone which can be up to 375 dollars.
According to the sources, HTC wants to take market share from Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 & 4.
So it has decided to make an offer to the consumers that they an get the entire prices of their existing smart phone if they decide to give their smart phone to HTC.
The company says that this is a very limited time offer, but if you purchase a HTC One before the end of May 5th you are guaranteed to get at least $100 back in the form of a Visa prepaid gift card. Once the purchase is complete you have until May 31 to mail HTC your proof of purchase and your old handset.
When HTC receives your package in the mail they will assign a value to your old handset.
Depending on what the phone is, HTC will increase the value of the gift card beyond the minimum $100 and up to a maximum of $375. This offer is valid in US these days but it may come to other parts of the world also once it is a success in the US
