ISLAMABAD: “Pakistan ensured all out medication to Sarabjit Singh to save the life of the spy after heinous attack”.
This was stated by the foreign office while responding to a statement of the Indian government, here on Thursday.
The FO furthered that the family of the spy was extended all out cooperation and were facilitated in every way. “Sarabjit died because of a cardiac arrest”, it added.
Earlier, the foreign minister of India, Salman Khurshid said the Sarabjit’s death is a setback to the people to people relations between the two countries. Khurshid also termed the death ‘worst incident’.
Indian spy died at Jinnah Hospital of Lahore last night after fighting for his life for several days. He was attacked by the jail inmates, reportedly by a brick on his head, which proved fatal.
