BRATISLAVA: The European Central Bank vowed Thursday to keep its interest rates low for as long as needed and could take further action again if necessary.
“Our monetary policy stance will remain accommodative for as long as needed. We will look at all incoming data and stand ready to act if needed,” ECB President Mario Draghi told a news conference after the central bank trimmed its key refi refinancing rate to a new historical low of 0.50 percent.
