LONDON: For the commentators of smart phones, this is an exciting time when almost four players are fighting with their best flagship products but experts suggest that the final battle will be between Samsung Galaxy S 4 and Sony Xeperia Z and all the people who have been paying attention have noticed that the real focus is on Sony Xeperia Z who is going to fight with Samsung with Android.
So one can say that Android is where all the action and focus is these days.because two impressive smartphones, Sony Xperia Z and the Samsung Galaxy S4 are about to cross paths. But will the Xperia Z would be able to send a signal that from now onwards there will be too much for Samsung to handle?
The stake holders of both companies might be crossing their fingers but for users it is all fun and excitement. For users it is just the question of performance.Since the phones sets are still not in hands so experts are reviewing the specs only.
The most important spec as of now seems to be the design and built and it becomes and important question because design and built wise both these sets are polar apart.
It’s a case of rounded pebble-like vs sharp and square. In simple words, Galaxy S4 is mostly plastic with a removable cover and the Xperia Z is largely glass and boasts a waterproof and dust proof.
The water proof and dust proof design is generating a word of mouth in thefans of smart phone because it seems like an achievement but things are pretty tied when it comes to the screen.
As expected, the Galaxy S4 has a 5in display with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920. As does the Xperia Z so each has a high pixel density of 441ppi – beaten only by the HTC One.
Technology varies as the Samsung uses Super AMOLED while the Sony uses its own Mobile Bravia Engine.
The apparant difference is glass as the Galaxy S4 uses Gorilla Glass 3 but the Sony Xperia Z has unnamed shatter proof and scratch-resistant glass.
When it comes to processor, there seems very little difference because Samsung has confirmed that the UK model of the Galaxy S4 will use a 1.9GHz quad-core processor instead of the octa-core chip.
This brings it close to the spec of the Xperia Z..Storage wise also there is little difference for users and same is the case of cameras which have similar specs.soft aware wise also, they are close and apparently this is an area of personal opinion ans so is the case of battery. So the acid test will be how users perceive the difference and that we will find out in a couple of weeks.
