SIBI, Balochistan: At least four people were injured when suspected militants lobbed a hand grenade at an election office of Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) in Balochistan, police said.
According to the police two militants riding on a motorcycle lobbed a hand grenade in Jinnah road area of Sibi.
Officials said four persons were injured in the attack, adding that the blast also damaged the election office of JI candidate for PB-21, Mumtaz Nazar Abro.
At least 6 people were killed and over 41 others injured when three separate blasts hit the election meeting of Peoples Party (PPP), an office of MQM and Imam Bargah in Karachi on Saturday.
The spike in violence targeting political parties has raised concerns for law and order as the May 11 general elections draw closer.
