KARACHI: Two alleged members of a banned outfit and modern weapons were recovered as personnel of Pakistan Rangers raided Sohrab Goth area, here on Saturday.
The militants, held from Quetta Town, were said to belong to Wali-ur-Rehman group of banned Tehrik Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The arrested were, namely, Ikramullah and Hamidullah, from whom the personnel recovered an MP rifle, SMG, Kalashnikov and a ‘bomb made in a water cooler’.
It is pertinent to mention here that Rangers had conducted more than 15-hour operation in Rabia City, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, yesterday and handcuffed 11 alleged militants from there.
According to sources, the crackdown was made on a tip off that a political party had converted a hospital into their office.
