ISLAMABAD: A fresh three-member bench was Saturday established to conduct hearing in the treason case, filed against Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharraf.
The bench, to be headed by Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja, comprises justice Aijaz Afzal Khan and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain.
The former military ruler faces the charge of imposing emergency on November 3, against the constitution, after toppling then Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif.
Meanwhile, the anti terrorism court hearing the case against Gen. (retd) Musharraf has issued detailed verdict of sending him on judicial remand for 14 days.
According to the judiciary, the investigation officer has completed inquiry into the case and says no further interrogation is needed.
