ISLAMABAD: Pakistani authorities on Thursday changed all the 17 Station House Officers (SHO) of Islamabad, the capital of the country.
The recent development has come at the time when the capital’s high court has rejected the bail plea of the former military ruler Pervez Musharraf and ordered his arrest.
However, sources said it was reported that the SHOs could influence the upcoming election scheduled to be held on May 11.
Several political parties of the country, fearing rigging in the polls, had demanded the interim interior minister to change the SHOs.
