Peshawar: Awami National Party (ANP) Chief Asfandyar Wali on Tuesday condemned attack on the party’s rally in Peshawar and said that they had sacrifices their lives but would not surrender infront of terrorists.
At least nine people have been killed and 40 others injured after a suicide bomber hit an ANP rally in Peshawar, a metropolitan of Pakistan.
Speaking to media, the ANP chief said that they were the followers of Wali Khan and they would not leave the ground for evil forces.
Wali said that the party was on the target of militants but security has been withdrawn from their leaders.
“Current government can also stop such atrocities if they have right intensions,” he said, adding that the intentions of current caretaker provincial government were not right.
If elections are not held now than then the law and order situation will deteriorate more quickly, he added.
He further said that certain elements wanted to eliminate the liberal forces from the current electoral process.
