LONDON: British sports minister Hugh Robertson has vowed that the nation will send a very clear message that “We won’t be cowered by any act of terrorism.”
London Marathon will go ahead according to its schedule said British Sports Minister.
Hugh Robertson saying he had “absolute confidence” that the race would be run without any concerns over security and safety, despite the tragic events that unfolded at the Boston Marathon yesterday that saw three people killed by two separate bomb blasts.
He told in an interview to local radio station , Robertson said: “The best way for us to react is to push ahead with the marathon on Sunday, to get people on the streets and to celebrate it as we always do in London
