MULTAN: Election Tribunal Multan bench has allowed Faisal Saleh Hayat and Abid Imam to contest general election.
A Returning Officer (RO) had rejected the nomination papers of both the leader over water stealing cases.
Both the leaders moved the Election Tribunal Multan bench against the RO decision.
Justice Jawad-ur-Rehman and Justice Ijaz Ahmed while hearing the appeal accepted the nomination papers of Hayat and Imam and allowed them to contest the election.
Both the leaders to contest election against each other for NA-87 district Jhang.
